Last Thursday we received our class cards in Foundations Engineering. One of our major subjects. If truth be told, I kind of expected am gonna fail that subject. Why, my scores were way too low. Low enough to deserve a failing grade. But God is good. I reached the quota. I passed. 13 of us passed. 1 is unofficially dropped and 9 failed.
It was a heartbreaking experience to see my classmates crying because the chance of finally receiving a university degree on 2011 slipped away. Just like that. Because of a grade of 5.0. It was disheartening that I couldn't even give a piece of advice or even utter words of encouragement because I knew no words could lighten up their pain. I knew it because I've been there. Done that. I've felt the same way they did.
But today, after 2 days of contemplating, I realized life goes on. It's up to us if we're going to be bitter, or better. And no matter how hard it was, we have to move on. Never give up. Never lose hope.
Things happen for a reason. We might not see what God is doing, but we know that He is working for those who put their trust in Him. He has a purpose. And a plan. We might not understand Him by now, someday somehow He will reveal to us His master plan for our lives. :)
So cheer up BSCE! There's a bright future ahead of us! Pagsubok lang 'to para matuto tayo! Until God said it's over, it ain't over. At sabi nga sa kanta ni Justin Bieber, Never say never! (Kailangan talaga may special mention si Justin Bieber, ganun?:D)
