My First Encounter With JYH7

“Firsts” are the best things in life, don't you think? First love, first date, first kiss, first anniversary, first salary, first gift you gave yourself out of your own money, first concert you attended, etcetera etcetera. Aren't they the most memorable ones? ;)


Speaking of which, on this day last year was when I saw my ultimate crush, James Younghusband in flesh for the first time! I know this may sound absurd to you but that was one of the best moments of my life! :p


So, the Azkals had a team practice that day at Rizal Memorial Stadium and being a newly-converted football fan that time, I didn’t waste any time and headed to the stadium to watch them well, practice. Hahaha. So, I went there. Alone. But I didn’t really care and was super excited to see the Azkals, most especially James.


He was one of the early-birds. He arrived with his younger brother, Phil and man, sobrang saya ko nun. Para akong nanalo sa lotto sa sobrang lawak ng ngiti ko. Yes, smile-smile na lang to conceal the kilig but suhwear, I was screaming like a mad man in my mind that time!!! Grabeng feeling! Haha.


From the moment he arrived, to the time he went to the dugout to change for his practice clothes, to the time he went to the field to practice, to the moment he went to the dugout again after the practice to shower and change clothes, my eyes never left him. I dunno, he just have this “pang-akit look” in him even if he wasn’t really nang-aakit. Hahaha! You know what I mean? ;)


But the best part happened at the end of their practice when they were heading out of the stadium to the parking lot. I think they were heading home na. So, I went to the gate where they were going to pass and I reached the gate before they passed through it kasi nga there were fans pa asking for their pics and autograph. Medyo natagalan sila sa oval track and I was just standing there at the gate just staring at him while he was busy signing and granting photo ops with him because I didn’t know what to do. And my heart pounding like crazy that time wasn’t helping at all! So, when the time came na, ayan na. Palabas na sila, natulala na lang ako! I was super starstrucked, tounge-tied and stupefied that I didn’t even managed to take out a pen and my planner to ask for his signy! Talk about wasted opportunity!!!

You see, I am not the fangirl type that would go to any place where her crush was in and that was the first time ever I did that so I was really unprepared, I think. But then, I managed to smile at him when he passed by me (simply because I just couldn’t wipe it off my face since the moment I saw him arrived and the fact that he was so gorgeous even after a tiring practice that it was almost illegal hahaha) and guess what?? HE SMILED AT ME, TOO!!! Though, it was very brief it was super big deal to me because well, he freaking smiled to me! And it’s not everyday that there’s James Younghusband that will smile at me! Hahaha. Plus, we were like just an arm away from each other that moment so you could just imagine how kilig I was!<3 br="" lol="" shrieks="">

It was one of the happiest days of my life ever!! And I won’t forget it as long as I shall live! :)
