I just finished reading - err, listening to Dallas Clayton's An Awesome Book of Love and, wow. I mean, WOW. I had it in audiobook and it was my first time listening to a book and it was THAT good I extremely enjoyed it that I listened to it over and over and over again that I could recite the words to you now if you let me! Hahaha! It was the sweetest, cutest, most adorable book EVERRRRRR. That is me, super meaning it!!! :D
Yes, it is an easy read but it is really an awesome book. I super loved the rhymes and the comparisons of contrasts blended into a beautiful poetry. Oh and, can I just reiterate that Dallas Clayton did an equally awesome job narrating this one? I felt kinda kilig listening to him saying, "I love you, I love you, I love you," in my ears that I couldn't help but imagine my future partner saying those things to me on a middle of a random day just to make me smile. Hahaha. Ever the daydreamer, that's me. Anyway, this is a book for all ages not just your children or grandchildren. I highly recommend it to everyone. Please go get yourself a copy! I am actually trying to find a paperback of it now because I am dying to see the illustrations after I browsed Mr. Clayton's Instagram page! He has literally the cutest Instagram posts! :)
By the way, I just found out this morning, from Dallas Clayton himself - via his Twitter, hihi! - that they made a short film yet very heart-warming adaptation of the book. Yay. And since, today's Valentine's Day (for the rest of the world, anyway) here's my gift for you. Enjoy! :)
Happy Heart's Day, everyone! Don't forget to spread the love!
